Already the first song "That's How You Start Over" is worth the money! A funky disco number that is somewhat reminiscent of "The Boss". Danceable and intoxicating! The other pieces on the album are the Arrangement ago mostly quieter and slower, but not boring.
"Love Will Make It Right" has catchy qualities and is my personal favorite on the album. "You do it," Diana Ross sings very emotional and "Pieces of ice" convinces with an exciting package which although not arrested right at the first hearing.
Other highlights include the energetic "Let's go up" and the rocking "Up front". Only the last number "Girls" convinced me not really, comes a bit boring therefore. Except for the song I think actually all the other seven on the album exceptionally well!
This new edition of the album on CD by Funky Town Grooves is absolutely first class! The quality is very good and the remixes are a nice plus, although I have heard them only once. I admit, after I had heard in succession in this long versions four times "Up front", I could do without it for a while.
The booklet is straightforward but very informative, I would not have expected such an issue. There is a tripartite, 2014 written text to the creation of the album.
