The device actually creaks a bit, me it does not bother much. The original remote controls were partly decrepit than the Harmony. Possibly I would buy the Harmony 555 with a new purchase, which should be processed-quality, but otherwise gives me the 525. Since all Harmonys have almost the same features and mainly in terms of design and different gimmicks that 350 euro difference can be the top model confidently save if you do not necessarily want a color touchscreen. I extend the keyboard illumination and display of 525 completely.
The Harmony must be set up via a USB cable via the Internet. The device database is huge and all our equipment were promptly found, also the elderly and the TV even older amplifiers. When individual keys do not work after you set up via software, you also can the Harmony still with the original FB "train", which occurs very easily. I have this function but hardly used.
Really exemplary is the support. In our radio tuner switching the channels did not work (which was really the only thing I could not set up and probably because the original remote control was no longer available only). When calling the free service number I immediately had an employee in the line, the slightly altered after the description of the problem in my configuration and calling me still on the phone to update the remote control via USB. Unfortunately, the problem was still not resolved then, I received a case number and the issue was forwarded. Then after a few days I got an email with a request to update my Harmony and voila, problem solved. From such a service can be in most products only dream of.
All in all, the value for money outstanding and I can I recommend the Harmony.
