I devoured the first two seasons in the shortest possible time and after I got used quickly to the added peculiar German speaker, I found it absolutely great. This soggy, slightly genuschelte of Ragnar, for example, makes him immensely likeable for me. The voice actors really tried the speech of Trevis craze reproduce. I can not but describe the characters sounded to me just believable and authentic. Clear it sounded different from the usual settings of the American film and television pabulum. But it was bad really not.
And now almost all the characters have been set to music. And that is exactly what occurred I had feared.
The characters sound exactly like any other movie or each series. I was just bad when I heard the new Synchro.
These were not the Vikings I knew. These were again only the same voices I've heard a thousand times in countless roles. The traditional German interpretation of American pronunciation. Boring and not authentic at all.
For me, the German version was ruined it and I'll be looking at the series now only in the original. If I have to get used already, then at least not to go worse. I just appreciate that the series here a classic case of "What the farmer does not know, he does not eat" has fallen victim. The audience gave the unfamiliar and not trimmed on synchronization Hollywood no chance.
Of course I know that my comment on this matter in the mass of positive remarks goes to new scoring. I had my views but do just anywhere known.
Of course, given the series as such anyway of me 5 stars. The reason for this you can read to you from other 5 star reviews together.
