Symphonic Metal's already degenerated into a dirty word of hipsters Metals! The types which are all cool because a) the logo can not read or b) the disc has been released only on vinyl, cassette or as smoke signals before 1989 or at least sounds! Then there are the albums that make easy the cover, music and clothes in 1970. Is it metal? Rather not! Such people may then also not Damnation Angels quite a new band from the UK, thank God have not Frontelfe but a guy in the band. Congratulations! Now your music sounds ever own. Because such music this year is out in the major print magazines, this is the new Underground here? Seriously: album number 2, "The Valiant Fire" really is not like the mass, which already shows the uncheesy Cover (of Jung Shan from Taiwan). Musically, the troupe has certainly verwurstet influences from the likes of Kamelot or Nightwish, they create the exciting and but to somehow make something drown out independently. Here songs between five and nine minutes quite complex orchestrations at the start the 2015 Preserve are sound really good. Since the song by Per Fredrik "Pelle K" Asly and the guitars of gang boss William Graney have power, convinced "The Valiant Fire" across the board, epic running time without nerves with cheesy ballads. New bands to drown out the advantage fresh, hopefully the Angels reserve this property! The long-established competitors should watch.
