A great voice - but what a band !!!

Mariah shows on this disc that they can, unlike many other stars and starlets sing live while almost better to come off as the often overproduced plates.
At a time when she was still somewhat with both legs was at least on the ground and had not so much to fight with airs and mental health problems, it sounds refreshing and intones instinctive sureness.
But the real highlight of this disc is the world-class band that was provided to the exceptional singer on the page, especially the incomparably grooving rhythm section.
Both together, soloist and band give a timeless and entertaining CD on which you would like to have heard more than 8 or 9 titles. One of my favorite albums.
