After my old headset Creative Fatal1ty Pro Series Gaming Headset HS-800, went for broke broken cable, I needed a replacement. I chose the 380 because of the good reviews PlantronicsCom. Originally I wanted to buy myself a headset in the higher price range, but because the reviews differ sharply with the expensive models, I bought a headset in the same price range as the predecessor. The microphone is really good. The user is understood loud and clear. The sound itself is also good, but listening to music or in some games you feel that something is missing. The bass is lacking or scarce. By virtually absent Bass most songs lack the necessary spice. In first-person shooters like Battlefield, I noticed that the player hears the bad ambient noise and can estimate distance of shots, explosions and bad steps. In other games such as MMOs and Jump n 'Runs missed not the bass really.
Conclusion: If you need the headset for MMOs or quite like to hear pop music, the headset can get without hesitation. Personally, I would again access to Fatal1ty, but this time I really get myself a headset from the higher Price class.
