Have the headphones (RP-HTX7E-R) at the seller Duronic ordered for 27 euros, but, as I have noted in hindsight, Mai, the new model (RP-HTXAE-R). The delivery was very quick. When opening the package I noticed directly that the headphones had scratches and the extension cord and the plug to 6.5mm socket were missing. I thought first that the product was already unpacked and thus is not new. An e-mail to Amazon customer service was enough to get a return slip. As the sound quality I liked, I wanted to keep headphones initially anyway. But then I noticed that the stitching on one of earpads was incomplete and I could see the feeding inside. So I realized that the scratches could have arisen even in the production and Panasonic products may not adequately checked for correctness. So I have the headphones still sent back and thought to myself that I have caught a specimen from Monday production.
At the same time I ordered the seller Ecclesiastes, the new model (RP-HTX7AE-K) for about 35 euros. I get this time the old model (RP-HTXE-K). When displaying only the supplied 6.5mm plug was given, which was missing from the package. That was not so important to me. Also it was not important to me if I have the new or the old model, because the performance should be the same. The headphones had no errors. But the sound was completely different than the headphones that I had returned. As much to me only on that the new model is optimized bass (also available on the packaging). So the headphones had significantly less bass, but it sounded the higher sounds much clearer. That suited me because I can not hear bass heavy music generally.
However, the second headphones have two months Duch maintained (loose connection at the plug). So I had to send back these headphones. Amazon took the second headphones back without any problem and refunded the price. Because I can do with my time also better than packets back and forth to send, I have no third attempt with these headphones dared. Have now, again from Amazon, ordered headphones from Phillips and hope to keep this a while.
I find it very annoying that they seem to at least in these headphones do not get the model that you have ordered. Here is a minus point to Amazon, which I'm not sure if the other seller send products as they advertise or whether Amazon here messes up products in the warehouse.
Sonically the headphones for the price are quite good, but more than 35 euros they are in my opinion not worth it. Whoever listens to heavy bass music should order a new model. However, it is apparently a matter of luck, which model you get actually delivered. And the quality is poor.
I also have other products from Panasonic, which provide reliable service for many years. But in these headphones Panasonic has probably chosen a bad production site. That's why I need (old or new) advise against buying this headset model.
