Great sound, but outdated firmware

Commissioning:
To install the necessary Windows driver (CD included) is a breeze. The manual is very detailed. Ports as well as the small boxes themselves are solid. Unbewöhnlich is the mini-USB port.

Sound:
Sonically "peps" of small transformers my Marantz player (in the years come, but when drive is still top) audibly. Playful listeners warmly recommend the test of the two filters. I like filter 2 better.

Features:
The external power supply is not particularly high, caused me repeatedly disturbing clicking noises in the speakers - regardless of the polarity of the plug. An exchange is an option.

I was pleased recently very pleased with the announcement that the converter now also speak the DSD files. But the disillusionment followed a little later, when it turned out that the Firmware Version 3:38 is necessary. My converter is equipped only with the previous version 3.37. UPGRADE IS IMPOSSIBLE!
