The Sirui N-1004 makes then but a very robust and sophisticated look, it can be pushed together small and is quickly assembled because of the good locks. The additional hook on the center post can be used to Stabiliserung. The adjustability of the legs can also macro shots close to the ground.
The tripod comes with pocket and additional carrying strap, even though I will always fix stands for transport to my camera bag.
The working height is comfortable for tall people, and even with heavier lenses (70-200, 2.8) can be steady pictures at slower shutter speeds to realize, that the stand has the necessary rigidity to absorb shock and vibration levels.
The ability to unscrew one leg and use it as monopod, I personally find completely useless, because its working height is definitely then too low for me. After the screw is so stable that this gimmick is no disadvantage.
The only drawback (Attention: actions at a high level!): There is only one lock screw on the top plate. This means that a head screwed on too strong fixation with the lock screw is pushed slightly wrong and so the head is not 100% plan rests. Here Sirui should the plate spendieren two counter screws to fix this.
Conclusion: Overall a great tripod that my purpose in terms of stability and transportability fully met! Perhaps with Sirui opens up a real alternative to the local leaders. From cheaper copy from the Far East is here definitely nothing to remember. But on the contrary!
