So had a matching sub forth in order to realize 2.1.
My Realtek sound card has 5 sockets at the rear of the PC - one of the jacks is dubbed as "Sub". So I bought a mini-jack to 2x RCA cable and wired everything. On the software side you have to then the Realtek driver on 5.1 Switch on and off the rear speakers, and only the sub to turn. So you end up ultimately at 2.1 - what really works well.
Via crossover position the subwoofer be adapted to existing speakers to really pass only the low frequencies and not to come into the enclosure with the monitors.
With the level switch, the intensity of the bass can be beeinflust.
For me, the Sub is now under my desk - crossover is approximately 1/4 to 1/3 position and the level below 50% switch .. So there are still sufficient reserves. However, Mir fits perfectly without being unobtrusive bass share in these settings.
Fortunately, there is also a Frontfire Sub ... easy on the neighbors or lodgers at least somewhat)
Conclusion: Great bass on PC! Everything worked wonderfully and I'm very happy with the 201A.
