Per
+ Stereo Micro
+ Video thanks sensor peaceful and brighter than JVC
+ 120 fps mode (but not at High Res.)
+ Separate microphone connector
Contra
- Stereo microphone only very limited use, because the plastic casing shields the micro. The external micro connector does not help, because when the case is used, the bottom of the connection can not be used
- The video image in 720P prone to artifacts (blocks formation)
- The video image in 1080i prone to extremely unrealistic flow rates at the sides. This is probably due to the extreme curvature of the lens glass. The 170 ° at the JVC look not so curved and the side edges do not fly so past as in the Sony. Especially when shooting in Auto acts such as a speed of about 60km as 100. Although it is possible to fix this by video editing software, you have to also edit each clip and the audio signal is therefore unusable.
- The wifi mode constantly turns itself off (Android Galaxy S3 test), as well as the camera. The menu does not allow you to change the standby time although it should be possible
- No screw on the housing; you always use the plastic casing. Camera does through the arched underside not stand, let alone if you want to use the underlying connections.
Conclusion; Due to limitations in 720p mode and the very unrealistic video results in drive shots the camera is recommended only conditionally despite your technical advantages over the JVC. The camera itself with Stereo Micro would have had potential, but unfortunately they gambled the main advantages with the plastic housing. Better to grab JVC or wait for the GoPro3.
