Great Tracker with Android (Note 4) with updates:

I recently owner of the Garmin Vivo Smart. The important thing was to be able to always carry the tracker (water, at night), a simple possible design and the nice smart features. Large concerns I had regarding the problems with Android devices. After a few days I can say that so far I have no problems with the sync. An update of the tape, I trust myself, however, not make, for fear of then having problems. (Currently 2.8 software). The app I really like, and acts more mature than other vendors.

If I know the tracker better, I will extend my review for the time being a Plus Minus list:

+ Design of the tape
+ Smart features
+ Nice app
+ So far mostly good Sync
+ Battery life
+ Very accurate step count

- Integration with other apps after a few rum games functional (MyFitnessPal)
- From time to time error message when you sync even though this is carried out
- Sleep recording rather useless ..

Update 5.4:

After a little over a week, I'm still very satisfied. The battery life is good (after a week comes the battery icon that allegedly a charge level of 33% indicates).

Step counting:

The step count in daily life seems to be very accurate. When handwashing unfortunately minimal steps are counted (10-20) but do not know if this can be avoided with a hand tracker. When showering (therefore no additional steps) I got the band until now always removed (because of shower gels)

Connection to the phone:

In the beginning there was from time to time problems with Sync (connection was there) and I had these often trigger a second time. After you update the app, this problem was solved. In about a week the band has ever lost the pairing to mobile phone. Problem was corrected in 2 minutes by re-pairing. Last night, it seemed to have been problems with the server. There was no upload of steps possible. This morning, however, everything is working normally again.

App:
Furthermore, very nice and clear. Am fully satisfied. The fact that the objectives adjust every day I find nice. The Challanges with other (foreign) people motivate. Badge I have before I get registration (25,000 steps), so are probably corrupted all other badges.

Sleep measurements:

Totally for the fish. The app does not indicate when and how I slept but as the movements were while I sleep mode activates me. Have a little baby when I get up at night shows me the evaluation While the movement, but at the same time tells me that I xx - xx slept. Although I was in between awake.

I'll stay for now at four stars. It is so far the best tracker I had in use (I've tried a few), with nice discreet design and an appealing app.
