Greatest Joke

I think the above mentioned German-English word collage best describes what I think of this plate - namely for a very bad joke the music industry. Maybe the band can (Sixpence counts for me namely one of the greats of the Christian music scene!) Not help it because they had often suffered in the past at the policies of various record companies, as it was expressed in so many of their lyrics. The compilation of songs is in fact quite wrong in my eyes and goes for miles past what I personally think the best songs of the band. OK "Kiss Me" to get due to the success of the radio probably not around, "Breathe Your Name" and "Melody Of You could even include this, but it is already happening. One just needs to know that the same two songs on the record not originally from Sixpence are, but cover versions. From their exzelleten plate "This Beautiful Mess" on the other hand not a single song on it is :-(. Or where to stay "Anything" with its great guitar or "The Lines Of My Earth ? "Conclusion: I can pretty much recommend each plate of Sixpence None The Richer - just not this And even suspect sometimes quite brazenly, the band thinks the same way..
