Guitar, bass, drums, nothing more needs excellently played blues!

The hardworking Joe Bonamassa has now with his concert recordings "tour de force" the friends of his music and Blue friends a whole load excellent music. I initially decided to use the recording from 26.03.2013 in the "borderline" in London. The decisive factor for my decision was instrumental occupation for which the Master had decided. Here is presented Joe Bonamassa in the classic Blue Instrumentation: guitar, vocals (Joe Bonamassa), Bass (Michael Rhodes) and drums (Anton Fig).
According to the "Duden", the term "tour de force" comes from the French word meaning strength, violence or associated with exertion action. My judge it after this description is very apt for the recording. Power and strength comes from this album. Here the Blues is celebrated directly and vigorously. The set list is determined by the predominantly older albums Bonamassa. The songs come over very fresh and in a very clean sound. I was particularly impressed the song "Pain And Sorrow". This takes towards the end vigorously to gain momentum and therefore reminds me a little of "Shadowplay" by Rory Gallagher. Other highlights of the CD 1 are the excellent "Happier Times", "Blues Deluxe" and "Miss You, Hate". On the 2nd CD I can emphasize not a song because they are all great songs. Perhaps "Do not Burn Down That Bridge" takes off a bit, since the musicians perform their solos. Bass and drums present themselves excellently.
Guitar, bass, drums, nothing more needs excellently played blues! "The Borderline" is an absolutely great live experience. I have truly never regretted the purchase.
