I use this microphone for the bass drum in the music field Metal. There, the Audix D6 makes pretty good, there is always the punchy sound of the microphone is maintained, regardless of which effects or positions you tried. However, I find that the Audix D6 sounds a bit hollow. For professional studio recordings in the metal for the bass drum, the D6 is less suitable, however, convinced already in advanced recording or live performances. The value for money in my opinion is ok.
