What needs to be said, in my opinion is that there in each of the last role plays that I've been through (Star Wars, Rift, HDR, Aion) have always been one of the factors in this, who after a moment disturbed the game:
- Loveless, quickly repetitive Maps
- Rapidly ausreizende selection or customization options
- Focus on levels, story in the background
- (! And profitable) not flexible interaction between the individual level increments
- Interface not variable
- And and and
I could continue the list. Certainly the individual games also had their charm and their plus points, otherwise I would have stopped rapidly. What GW2 now so special:
It combines the advantages and innovations from other games, adds yet unexplored extras added and learns from the mistakes of other games!
- Maps in which you also would like to go walking times
- Combat system and character selection so flexible that anyone can do what he wants. I could make up my mind at the end of the beta for any class and that is a rare occurrence.
- Multi-server buddy lists, super organized game access, no lags, no waiting
- There has been nothing I could not adjust the way I wanted it =)
The only thing that struck me and could possibly interfere with the one or the other: The trailers are very artistic and statically held by the conscious decision to remaining concept of the game. Who ingame cinematics á la Diablo expected here will perhaps be disappointed. But let's be honest: Dear an awesome gameplay than just spectacular cutscenes)
I can only judge the betas. But I am in agreement with my team-mates that this game fun for several years will bear when it creates it. And when you consider that it only once mentions the acquisition cost:
BUY!
