This lens is Aufrgrund its value for money really interesting. Optical certainly a good choice, but technically you left off in developing the bayonet. Although the lens for sports (swimming, football, etc.) and also for outdoor use is advertised as very rugged, does not meet the Nikon version in my view this property. I am perhaps a little picky, but when you look a little on the side of the bayonet into the lens, you can see the entire unprotected electronics. Since I have a different understanding of dustproof, waterproof, and designed for professional use in harsh shooting conditions, it is not designed, in my view. As electronics can reagiern on Feuchigkeit, was supposed to be known, especially if you have a moist environment as in indoor swimming sports. Also late long-term damage is inevitable because of my understanding. For 3000 euros a resounding NO, and therefore the lens goes back together with the also not protected bayonet 2.0 converter. If I had seen on the many pictures of sighted 120-300 2.8 Sport, the purchase would not even have been possible. I hope that this fact only available on the Nikon version.
