HAF 922 HAF vs 912 plus

I have a PC with the HAF 922 housing built me. Now also the ZweitPc had to be replaced, I have decided for the HAF 912 plus housing.
Once here, many have already written, which benefits the 912 has plus, I would like more of a juxtaposition of 912 plus and the big brother 922
do.
I have built two housing during operation and the PCs themselves, have therefore experience with it and the cases may very well be compared.
I hope I can people who want to opt 922-912 / must therefore give a little help:

Appearance:
The HAF 912 Plus comes just martial therefore like the 922. The front of the 922, I find somewhat successful. For this you can the lights of the 20cm front fan with the HAF 922
off. In this case, however, not here. The red lights accompanied a while the computer. Really does not bother me.
Conclusion: a matter of taste, here you can go wrong with both nothing.

Operation:
The front panel of the 922 is arranged a bit strangely. The switch of the 912 plus are logical and see a little better. For the PC on when

Ventilation:
Both cases are very well ventilated, also offer space for additional fans. The 912 plus is here with rear fan and front fan very good. The 922 has a 20 cm Toplüfter.
This ensures powerful wind, so that it can under the table Scheib draw ever.
Tie. 912 is very gut.922 still a tad better, but unnecessary for any top gaming PCs.

Component installation / power supply:
In both cases there is sufficient space. Only the 912 plus has a filter in the air inlet for the power supply. Why this important part of the 922 missing is incomprehensible to me.

Component installation / mainboard:
In 912 there is enough space. But nothing more. In 922 you can still a Limbo dancing through the housing board installation. For the 922 Tower is also a little monster
the powerful need space under the desk. To my horror, had not been settled plus the usual pan-head Phillips screws for mounting the board at 912, but only smaller M3
Little screw that look as if they have only a little grow. Here you have saved with Cooler Master at the wrong end.
The 912 plus however has a Phillips screwdriver adapter for the spacers of the Board. The small but absolutely awesome.
More space and better screw there at 922. The ingenious adapter makes the caliper mounting the spacers superfluous, only the 912 plus here.

Component installation / storage, processor: not relevant

Component installation / processor fan:
CAUTION: Both housing splurge so that is still plenty of space for additional fans. If you build a Noctua CPU cooler with 120mm fans into housing 922, you still have enough space for
a fan page. In 912 plus you have exactly 175 mm space for the processor fan. The Noctua from me brings a whopping 158 mm, thus making the incorporation of a fan page to naught. Though
There are also quite small CPU fan. Here you should know before buying the housing and the fan, if the fan side is tuned or not.
The mounting hole for the back plate of the CPU fan is in 922, who would have thought, too small for the Noctua. Here, the fan must be installed before the board installation.
In 912 plus that is not the case. Here you can safely install only the board and then mount the CPU cooler.
912 plus is clearly superior here.

Component installation / Graphics card:
My graphics card has two additional power supply ports. These are on the front side. For an assembly, I had lack of space between the cage for the HDs at 912 plus briefly
remove. Then everything worked great and I was able to install the HD-mounting frame again. The details in 912 plus are no useless gimmicks. Everything is thought out and partially GENIAL.

Component installation / HDD, Blueraybrenner:
Both housings provide quick solutions that are very well thought out. The onset of HD in the plastic frame 922 for the hard disk assembly, however, has driven me to incandescence because
ever the rubber bearings are pushed out. At 912 plus engineers have come up with something better.
Super detail of Cooler Master. The 912 plus is still a tad better.

Scope of supply:
Good instructions with lots of pictures.
Screw the 912 plus: A drama that thumbscrews and board screws are missing or have failed ***. The adapter for the spacers from the Board is lonely class.
Cable ties and SSD HD frame and mounting aids are in 912 plus awesome.

My overall conclusion:
After unpacking the 912 plus and the first comparison with the 922, I was a little disappointed. The lack of / inadequate screws are almost an insult and
completely incomprehensible due to the remaining absolutely fantastic housing. Who wants a fan more, should pick up the 922. Install the fan in retrospect makes the
Price advantage of the 912 plus naught. In addition, the fan must be done BEFORE the installation of all other components, otherwise goes here nothing more.

Who needs mega space and a fan more, picks up the 922nd
Who has not quite so much space under the table, can pick up the 912 plus reassured.
