Halestorm goes out of steam ...

It looks like I'm a Bissel been too exuberant in my anticipation again Halestorm album. However, the advance commercial songs ready by no means on the fabric softener before, in this album is apparently fallen. I have the whole thing now 5 times by part and must say: Since missing in parts of real steam. From the 2nd run of the fingers was dangerously close to the skip button. Never thought I'd say this about Halestorm. This looks too overproduced abundant, too much electronics (eg Scream) and Voice Changer. The percussion effect every now and then like a drum machine. Some songs go with Interlude into each other, it works only as half. They were probably in Nashville with a producer who makes Country else, and you can hear that (unfortunately) out also in many places. Some songs seem as if a rock band would have been covered a few country songs (eg I like it heavy). What is missing is the square dance group in the background ...

This all sounds a little too negative: There are quite songs that really good leave (Amen, I am the Fire, Gonna Get Mine, Apocalyptic), absolute candidate for my personal Hotrotation. Lzzys voice is still a stunner, but a few songs go. Not at all. At least not on my individual Halestorm barometer. There are plenty of songs that just by P! Nk and Taylor Swift could be added. The unspeakable synth passages of Dear Daughter I thought I'd at Enya. No wonder that they have not played the other day things (Bad Girls World, What Sober Could not Say) on the concert. The album also including that almost after every rock song immediately comes a slow piece with almost no use of guitars and the aufkeinemde hope that it will now finally get started but, again destroys suffering. After this roller coaster ride of the conclusion of the regular album acts (I like it heavy) almost inappropriate ...

Who knows, opinions are always subjective, perhaps the album other people like better. Who but the continuation of The Strange Case of ... wait, still have to bring your patience.
