In my unit from the state in December 2013, the attenuation of the upper and spurious is 60 dB better. At high power a very short transmission mode is recommended, little cooling surface. Reception and modulation quality is satisfactory from the aural impression ago. Whether the station is fails when not screwed antenna for safety's sake not tested. The resonance of the supplied antenna is 140 MHz and 417 MHz. For the amateur radio frequencies in the middle at 145 MHz and 435 MHz I could measure just 8 dB return loss. Changes in the antenna surroundings brought no improvement for the amateur radio frequencies. A measured to compare 2-band antenna for my Alinco handheld showed about the same behavior.
The quality / price ratio is remarkably well from my perspective.
