Hangs permanently, too expensive for power

My apartment is quite large and spacious. The furniture are far apart. Ideal conditions for a robotic vacuum cleaner actually. The Roomba comes with many accessories and makes a stylish, well-made impression and pulls the voltage of the first visitors. He drives very arbitrary, look at work should not, but he does an acceptable job generally. Well, in between he closes in passing doors and locks a himself, for the corresponding area is then evening also particularly clean ;-).

As extremely disturbing I feel that the Roomba always exposes in two places: on the one hand he is a regular hang under my bed because there is a place there that hangs lower than the rest and he can not free themselves up. Well, that annoys me extremely because he just stays stuck immediately after the start, but is specific for a review on Amazon. Much more bothers me that he torments himself with great difficulty on my Langflorteppich, then after the first 20cm adjust its service because the brush can no longer turn and he then quits, rather than cut back. Its cleaning performance is acceptable, but it does not replace a vacuum cleaner. He has already scratched my tower speaker.

Definitely I will not rebuild my house to make roombafähig. A fortiori, I can not imagine the Roomba in homes with very many or close to each other standing furniture. In an order of 150, I can imagine such a device as "flat maintenance" between the actual vacuum cleaner intervals, as real household helpers is not worth the unit.
