Happy in front of us

Xavier Naidoo is for me one of the biggest German talents in the music business. He has already released four albums and recorded three live albums. "Happy to go," is his second live album that consists of a total of twenty songs. The songs were the "We Are Happy to go," taken from tour, which took place a year earlier in the four cities.

- Thirteen of the twenty songs from the concert in Munich (including "before you go" 9
- Four of the twenty songs from the concert in Stuttgard (including "Where are you going")
- Two of the twenty songs from the concert in Frankfurt / Main ("to the acid test" and "We Belong Together")
- And a song is from the concert in Mannheim ("If I would have children")

The double CD with a total playing time of around 112 minutes, so almost two hours. On the front cover you can see the shadow of Xavier Naidoo with his hand on the microphone. In the background, the "enlightened" recognize audience. The reverse shows a very structured way all the important information about the CD (title, duration, number and town). The same information can also be set on the back of the booklet. The booklet is in fact turned out really fantastic. On each side you can always find the lyrics and a side-filling image of the Tour.

Almost all the songs on this double-CD can also be found on the one year previously released album "Interlude / everything for the Lord." The best-known songs of the double CD are "Before you go", "If I already had children", "Where are you going?" and "goodbye". Except for the second-mentioned has made it into the Top 10 of the German single player charts each title. But the album offers these brilliant songs also further highlights that should be called. Example, there is the song "maids and servants" that specifically responds to God and his work. In addition to the cool chorus it is above all the intelligent text that brings a shine. "Do not Give Up", however, is a very slow song that shows especially how good Xavier Naidoo can also sing with Supports. In this song Yvonne Betz sings most of them and does its job beautifully. The very good fit also Rap parts in his songs is the song "I's be Waiting". The very witty and beautiful song is supported by the Rapeinlage of Metaphysics, who sings like Xavier Naidoo in English.

In addition to "I'd Be Waiting" and "Do not Give Up" two more songs are still included on the double CD which are sung in English. "Do not Go Now" is a super good mood song with a nice rhythm and a fantastic Lilian Arhin that fits perfectly in the song. "Where we go drifting" is a very interesting song because the lyrics are a mixture of English and German. Finally WT Davis comes with its reggae part. The fifth song on the first CD contains amazingly, an almost seven minute long medley of the songs "Who knows what the morning brings" and "I'll let you die." On the second CD you will find the third song, a medley that lasts nearly nine minutes. The medley consists of the songs "The spirit is willing", "Everything for the Lord" and "She's in the quadrangle Created". The genius of these two medleys is that it acts as a unified whole.
On the double CD, there are then also two songs that are more filling plant. At the beginning of the first CD is in fact first a 2:30 minutes-long "Intro" played. Det Track 15, however, provides a very funny introductions of the band ("Jam").

Basically, you can tell immediately that this is a live album at this double CD. The sound quality is really outstanding, albsolut every note and every word seems smoothly and without error. From the clapping of the audience to really entertaining short stories, remarks ("Is the Curse in the house?" On the song "If I Had Already Children") and comments of Xavier Naidoo, everything is represented on the double CD. All but keeps fortunately under, the music is absolutely in the foreground.
