I bought this adapter to add Bluetooth to my IBM ThinkPad 2007 under Windows XP. The ultimate goal was to stream music from my PC to my stereo via Bluetooth. The Bluetooth adapter is recognized by Windows XP, playing its role as an antenna, however impossible natively redirect the sound output from the speakers to the laptop bluetooth dongle. Diagnosis: missing software or driver to install to enable this toggle. Search this software / driver missing on the so-called Daffodil, nothing. Research on the manufacturer's website of the semiconductor, Cambridge Silicon Radio (www.csr.com), nothing. 2-3 hours on the internet to find what I need. Nothing. Trash. Too bad.
