Two years, I was very pleased with the router, no problems.
Then Heise bugged constantly with their reports of router
Vulnerabilities and I was more or less forced,
to transfer the firmware.
One would think that everything was okay, but after flashing, reset to factory settings
(As recommended) and reconfiguration refuses the part
extremely persevering, after power connection take the modem.
Regularly Anschubser externally (login over HTTP on router) is necessary.
After that everything works again.
Have already tried a lot to make the alternative Merlin firmware, nothing.
Meanwhile, the part is annoying only, the configuration is via such
many scattered partial pages and after each beep blessed eg changes in
LAN and Wireless menu rebooting the part.
Bin extremly annoyed and will replace this 2 year old router now.
The part moves as an emergency backup in the closet.
Hardware seems to be very good, but the original ASUS Firmware
beneath contempt. Never again!
