Configuration requests and network traffic are processed in fast; no wonder - this model has more than twice as much CPU power as my old Linksys WRT54G Linksys WRT54GL-DE Wireless-G Broadband Router 54 Mbit / s. The configuration is easy, the surface is very clear. The firmware is up to date from the end of April. By three rotatable and detachable antennas you get good reception even under difficult conditions. Who special functions needs such as virtual wireless LANs (guests only with Internet access and printer!), Hotspot, disconnectable WAN port, time-based rule filter (no wireless in the office on weekends) or a DHCP client (with us coming DHCP Central by the server), the easy use DD-WRT, an alternative firmware, which can just as easily be loaded as the original firmware. This means that almost all conceivable functions of a wireless router are possible and it can also realize very specific functions. For only 50 EUR, there are no better router on the market. Who does not need a telephone or integrated DECT (like the top models of AVM) or very unusual features, the best technique gets here for little money. The device was in a recent comparison test therefore also the second place.
