The harness did not cause any problems for the connection. The panel could be clipped in the existing shaft. The big question, however, was whether the broad piece up or down comes - ultimately it seems to matter. The attached mounting for the rear of the radio can be installed anyway, because the radio so that no longer can slide into the bay.
Schön is the aperture for the Galaxy not because it disappears quite deep in the original opening - of for smooth transitions at the edges! The central bulge of the wider part of the diaphragm makes up about a level with the surrounding panel of the vehicle. That does not look really good!
The mounting frame that comes with the replacement radio is then inserted from the outside in those panel and must abide by this. Overall, the panel must therefore keep the whole radio, which seems a little limp. The rear bracket would certainly mounting point helpful as an additional, but falls flat, because the radio can not be pushed into the mounting sleeve with screwed terminal.
Conclusion: Only the really low price of this solution leaves a not complain about the optics. And a cheap alternative of a different design is not crossed my path.
