Song 2 - Destiny End:
Absolutely terrible poetry. Far too many unnecessary words that enclose the content and not the important words into perspective their action. This also suffers from the singing of some no longer pointed to the Rythmik. Rhymes there is not even. Absolute Blutengel level. Can not say anything else. The content itself is bland and a bit tiring. Are bands that have much better implemented. Eg. Incubator with free. In addition also comes yet the music absolutely formulaic and boring. But that's the only song in which I had to complain about the music.
Song 3 - time for hatred:
The weaknesses of the previous song are here no longer at present. For the "chant" in the first half is quite strange and adjusts so not to epochal music. Something I associate with personally rather Nachtblut. But to which it fits just as well because they go musically significantly trashy to work and that's intentional. From the second half, the song is really good. Therefore, one of those that I like better.
Song 5 - Get your free:
For this I need nothing more to say. As I said, absolute highlight.
Song 6 - man against man:
Here we have it the other way. The beginning is terrific. Poetry, Gesank, music are perfectly matched. From the second half it will be broken and the text drifts more and more insubstantial phrases from which one has heard or read anywhere too suffice. At least if you're a little versed in poetry or poetry. If such records at the end of a story are to round them they get along well. But if you have only one behind the other lined up no more effect on me. Rhyme schemes will be lost again ... pity.
Song 8 - This song is very on Athmopsphäre and less on Rythmik. Therefore, the lack of rhymes fall on non-negative. During the beginning a very dense athmospheric effect has this effect goes with time iwann lost. Presumably, that are easy to very protracted due to typical band elements.
Conclusion: The way I see it, the band would be better advised rather to track lengths set to remain below the 10 minute limit. Because there work atmosphere, matched poetry, music, etc. all significantly optimized and focused on each other. This also applies to earlier works. For example, in the song "Nothing but ashes" I like the shortened video version much better. And that is certainly not to me. I also listen to songs that go much longer. Part of the Black and Dark Metal. Also part of the symphonic metal But that only makes sense if one makes before worrying about meaningful distractions brings and the story of the song, it simply will bear. And you do not have to resort to ausgelutschte phrases. Here much seems to have been simply artificially protracted.
I know that I fought before this very demanding. But "you mach frei!" has indeed set very high the bar.
