I wanted to let you briefly here that Amazon has probably listened to the bad reviews: The packaging now oriented (order January 23, 2013) on the recommendations of Western Digital. Corresponding User photos were indeed suspended and wrapped already uploaded (plates in the outer carton in Bubblewrap.
The two plates that I ordered, settled easily into a Synology DS413 initialize and run without any problems so far (about 24) - as they exist in the long-term test, I can accordingly not yet say.
Strong buy recommendation from me - just let me know any questions.
