These are the Roots as we love them. Having tried something new with Phrenology (which of course sounded very good, I mean it's the Roots!), They turn now in the truest sense of the word to their roots and make damn good Hip Hop! Even "Star / Pointro" announces what this album has all sin itself !! The track is verklich a very relaxed sound to sit back and enjoy, I think. On "I do not care" is of course well rapped, the hook, but I find after a long listening somehow a bit annoying. A matter of taste. "Do not say nuthin ', The Single on, so that is a bit difficult to understand mumbled the chorus. But really good rap and no means to mainstream. A surprise for the people who have something like a continuation of "The Seed" expects, the single was all. For these people, but then there's "Guns are Drwan". A very nice track that person with "Star / Pointro" and "Somebody's gotta do it" I like best. "Stay cool" also equipped with a somewhat annoying hook, but that makes a pretty cool slightly oriental sounding beat well again. "Web" and "Boom" can look a the studio of the Roots and show how cool di jam with the Roots are. Delicious. "Somebody's gotta do it": Very nice beat, thick hook and of course will also gespittet tidy. Geiler track. "Duck Down" I like that but nothing special. "Why" is also very cool, also one of the best tracks. Then the two hidden tracks: so-cool. Conclusion: a purchase is put to warmly recommend to any fan anyway and for not fans. Do not you do better! And always nice pay attention to the lyrics: The Roots are not simple hip hopper, but poets !!!
