The only drawback here is that the bayonet lock allows only one-sided assembly, so if it is time not required to use the lens hood, it can not be attached upside down, as is the case with an original part.
Good to know is that a one tulip lens hood does not help if you use a lens in which the focus ring is located on the lens end and the aperture must be attached directly to it, as it rotates along with the setting of the sharpness and the long ends protrude in the image edges.
