Heaven Shall Burn are back!

After the 2008 album "Iconoclast" and 2009 appeared ends live DVD "Iconoclast II - The Visual Resistance" (highly recommended both) follows after such a short distance again the next HSB album. "Invictus" is the title - with the Unteritel "Iconoclast III", thus meaning that Invictus is expected to complete the Iconoclast trilogy.

I am not going to evaluate each song individually, in the broadest sense but it can be said that the album from the average level of hardness to date is the most violent.
The intro is well done is right next to those classified by the style of Antione and Iconoclast. The opener "The Omen" is certainly a bold song, but it's just not as "opener" of HSB is the best and I would not use it to start a concert. Since "End Time" and "The Weapon They Fear" were better .... as I said, but only with respect to the function as an opener. An otherwise a hammer song.
This is followed by "Combat", one of the really toughest tracks on the disc. What I really remains very much in the ear, is "The Lie You Bleed For", approximately in the middle of the album. The German text passage it is just great, who it sounds, will understand what I mean. The special thing about it is the one part of the content, and on the other hand the big surprise effect, or simply the fact that it is the first time that HSB do something. The simply stays in your head, or ear!
The last song, "Given In Death" also deserves a brief Erwähung because in this song the "deadlock" singer can be heard, with a comparatively high proportion about the same as Marcus Bischoff of HSB. Nice guest appearance ... can not tell you otherwise.

All in all, the album once again just fat. Both lyrically, as well as the entertainment level. Another Bestätiung that HSB is one of the best metalcore bands that are there.
