On the whole, I can confirm the opinions:
+ Looks great
+ Does a good and especially stable impression
+ Fits, does not slip and well padded on the inside of the helmet
In addition, the AWE Aerolite meets the common security standard and has various postmark appropriate institutions.
What I am, however, not clear come the closure system.
- No matter how I've also adjusted the helmet, the closure was always exactly where actually should be the pad for neck / chin. But there was the closing already at the point where I could not push at this point the pad.
- The cushion also depends on such loose tape that often shows off the neck and does not fulfill its function.
- Then I also had the feeling that the straps on the sides of the head were always askew and uncomfortable. This may be due to the width of the bands and the Y-distributors. The latter I had the impression that had to keep in relation to the width of something to limp to the whole in the long run.
Therefore two star suit.
After trying the AWE Aerolite, I once again its closure system compared with those of other helmets because there I did not know about me - may well be that this is just as often the case with other helmets. However, there is much more pleasant systems. However, these helmets will cost even as much as the AWE Aerolite actually costs: to the 100th Why the Aerolite no longer 90 but costs less then lies close: helmets from the original price of the Region AWE Aerolite have a very rich diet. After I had to compare, I had taken the Aerolite again under the microscope and then decided to send him back. That's not easy for me, because otherwise this is a very good helmet.
Conclusion: If one does not bother with the padding / lock, then gets a great helmet for 30. Those who value a well-functioning lock and a cushion, should look for another helmet.
