I use this switch in conjunction with a Fritz box 7360 to operate in the living room TV, NAS and several other devices. It works flawlessly, is noiseless and consumes 3 connected devices 1 - 1.5W in operation (measured with a Fritz Dect 200 socket!). I like that the AC adapter is built into the housing, and may give a passively cooled metal housing resulting heat better. Anyone who wants to save money, a comparable device (TP-Link TL-SG1008D) is also in a cheaper plastic variant considerably cheaper on Amazon.
