Good headphones less than 40 €

Although in recent years the competition has a tendency to release products more and more efficient, Sennheiser is usually a guarantee of a certain quality. The OCX 685i model meets these criteria, but no more.

Helmets are supplied with 3 different tips round to fit a large majority of morphology. Regrettably there are no jagged tips offered as they generally allow better grip. However, comfort issue if one of the fittings for you, there will not be much to complain for these helmets: they are light, soft, and hold up extremely well during workouts. It does not feel pressure effects on the auditory canal, or while running or when the removal. Be careful not to raise the volume because it may become difficult to hear outside noises.

In terms of sound quality, the rendering is correct or good without ecstasy. The bass and treble are present not sizzle. The depth is pretty good and power is also the rendezvous. For fans of standard apple earphones (or high fidelity of the brand range with apple) the difference will be clearly felt for the Sennheiser. For those who have more experience in audio quality, you will not be impressed. At market price (about 70), there was probably better. At the promotional price of 40, not so sure. However, we must not forget that this is an accessory intended for sport and not for audiophiles.

Like many, I regret the position of the remote control. The debate for and against strap is surely a matter of taste (in my case, for sports and I have a preference for the strap), but it would have been ergonomically placed higher or much lower downright remote. Of course, engineers have thought of providing a clamp to lock the wire during the race, but it's more like a superfluous accessory if it all had been a little better thinking. Note that the angled audio jack fits easily into the shells like Atlas Incipio iPhone 5 / 5s because of its small thickness. This is a detail but for users of shockproof shells, it is a factor to be taken into account!

The quality of workmanship is very good. The yarn is fine but does not give the impression of having to sell easily. It is intelligently wrap author of the headset which prevents fatal extensions at the junction with the headphones. The very resistant to wet conditions.
