High power but not running smoothly

Was purchased the air pump ACO 318 to transport larger quantities of fish of sufficient oxygen supply. The pumping power is likely indication of 3600 l / h meet, but the usual 5cm balls on the supplied 6-fold distributor are actually too little. The gushing too much and gets the fish not very good. Better is a major distributor or larger outlets.

One problem, however, is the restless running. First, the pump is just very loud and must be placed on a gepolsteren underground. Secondly, I would like to run the pump at a small inverter to a battery. Whether the information is consistent with the 30W, I have not checked, but the pump is not running on a 100W inverter. Within one second switches off with a fault message. A stronger inverter for a test run was not available to me. The operation at the generator or of course to the power supply is not a problem.

But overall a very good price / performance ratio and recommended for appropriate application area also.
