During assembly of the vacuum cleaner but the quality finish already striking. It was not stingy on material. Also all the pieces fit together perfectly. The aluminum-made and adjustable suction tube has good length and is therefore also suitable for larger people. However, I must point out that, who has heavy chrome or stainless-steel suction tubes used previously, will initially irritated by the lightweight. The suction power of which is actually not a negative, but not positive affect ;-)) It's just ... just ... different .. unusual halt.
Whatever a little scare me, are power cord, which may not be fully extended. The technical background is not known to me. Being located near the end of the power cord a yellow and a red mark. An extract should always be carried out only up to the yellow mark. Red is too far, for whatever reason. Such a cable is not really helpful for a vacuum cleaner, because who has always eye contact on the cable? Why then does not happen the Red an automatic lock?
The accessories are plentiful (special turbo nozzle, hard floor nozzle, crevice and upholstery nozzle, suction brush). But sadly lacking in its entirety a storage option for the accessories. This is impractical. Since a larger corpus would have been attached with a storage compartment thoroughly, or a holding device on the intake manifold to at least be able to fasten the smaller but more frequently used accessories. So, if necessary, must be either brought separately or somehow different (however) are carried when sucking accessories required.
While the vacuum cleaner is in operation louder than comparable systems, but the suction power of the AEG is to my surprise very high. To test the suction a room with fairly dust-prone loop carpet was divided into two equal parts. The part with the AEG and the other part with a Dyson DC37 (but with 1300 Watt and much quieter) cleaned. Unexpectedly, the AEG has emerged victorious. The documented (dusting) Result was added to the product in the product photos. Even when sucking in other rooms of the AEG has the edge.
In the accessories my special attention is given to the special turbo nozzle. This has indeed developed basically for the removal of animal hair, but also makes such excellent services. The fact built by the airflow mechanism brings a studded rubber vane roller in horrendous rotary motion. The resulting noise drowned out the vacuum cleaner itself partly ;-) But the results speak for themselves. Normal cushion brushes are as completely no chance.
