Installation:
The cables have been laid in all possible variants: In ducts, joints on parquet statements, run through a wall, door frame and grooves that we have milled in the old floor in the hallway.
There were no significant problems. The maximum (or minimum) bending radius is approximately 4-5 cm, so I came to all corners. High tensile strength, the cables are also where I have anointed in a very tight empty pipe the installation cable with Vaseline in order to avoid undue fixed. This works very well and I can recommend to anyone who has problems with a "bottleneck" only! (Soap or shower gel is necessary even :))
Processing of the cable:
Clean, nothing to complain about. The pairs are well insulated and shielded.
Connection:
As already mentioned above, I have some canned two functions shall be called: The 8-wire installation cable we connected two 4-wire RJ-45 jacks. So could with only one cable per room two network connections are created (for example for PC and printer). I know no more than professional solution, but for the planned use sufficient and also revisable when needed, in which case, of course, only one connection per room remains. It should be noted however that in this variant, the bandwidth of 1000MBit drops to 100Mbps!
In room side we have used this network outlets:
PSC = 1
Router side, the cables are laid on this patch panel:
PSC = 1
Between routers and patch panel this switch depends:
PSC = 1
And as punch down this worked here quite passable:
PSC = 1
The above combination works beautifully together, I can only recommend. See also my reviews in the relevant articles.
