The visuals are really good, that is excellent center sharpness, which continues almost to the very edge. The last percentage points at the edge can be imperceptibly (!) After. Anyone who criticizes must really look for it.
The focus falls in direct comparison with an 12x50 Dodecarem (one of the highest quality lenses by Carl Zeiss Jena) immediately catches the eye, although the Dodecarem scores on a high level. The somewhat unfair comparison to a Carl Zeiss West 15x60 GAT precipitates similar!
The resulting image through the Nikon is wonderfully light through the most modern and fairly neutral in color compensation. It's fun to see through here. After prolonged use, you have the feeling, no longer be seen through binoculars.
Best of all the housing. My present description is a purely personal assessment and can be viewed by anyone else completely different. Porrogläser have their design usually a sweeping phenomenon. It has more (!) In hand as at roof Knew glasses, the most petite come along. I know many Porrogläser, but the Nikon is the first glass, I also like to take into their own hands unconsciously. There is a real flatterer. The case seems to be apparently to nestle directly to the prisms and thus occupy the smallest possible volume. And it seems to me as if it was designed with a special purpose so that it is comfortable to hold. If so, an outstanding success!
What I do not like? The apparent field of view could be larger, although it is still far from the so-called tube look. But here call the small prisms probably took its toll.
The lens cap is ne weak long program, which is clearly more elegant. These suck on glass firmly so that each time I need minutes, to release it from the instrument * kopfschüttel *.
But then it stops with criticism.
Overall, the best binoculars in the conglomeration between Zeiss East & West, Fujinon, etc. and thus a fantastic quality companion.
