It is generally a device to the CPU of the PC. So I was misled by the name of cable: USB 3.0 to eSATA. I noted in the description, it was to connect a eSATA device to a USB 3.0 port on the PC. The name led me to believe that it also worked the other way. I wanted to connect my new Blu-ray recorder with a USB 3.0 eSata port on my PC with USB ports are all taken and more USB 2.0 only. Well it does not work in this direction!
