For testing on ... it turns on .. run right out of round ... and then ... KLACK KLACK .... continue rotating .. at one point klackert it, apparently processing is mieserabel the gears are likely to potter about in there too far apart and do not always mesh. When I look from above then the board not quite centrally mounted, which probably could also explain ... Cheapest Made in China ... will now see if I get a replacement and is then fine ... or thing just back end and really all devices of the model are scrap.
FYI ... the device can operate with 3 AAA batteries, but the LEDs (which are in contrast to the engine can not be disabled), so that the motor does not rotate. In addition, removing the bottom much too impractical .... the second power switch on the unit will change the way the LEDs flash.

ADDENDUM:
Have now got a replacement very accommodating of NEANVersand after about 1 1/2 weeks. This affects not very well made, turntable also looks off-center. But besides that it was not quite smooth around-runs it works. No sudden crackling stops. The one with the bad concentricity is a pity, but bearable in the price range. The next best thing costs about 8 times.
