High-tech grilling fun

The "little brother" (normal variant) of Lotus barbecues is well made. The grill is easy to assemble and take apart later, thereby cleaning the metal parts (grids, collecting tank, ignition tray) is in a dishwasher for grilling. The lighting of the grill is amazingly simple and allows already after about 4 minutes that you can put the first food on the grill. The built-in fan can thereby regulate the heat properly, while the outer shell not heated. In this way, the grill can be lifted even in full operation and placed at a different location, if this is necessary (eg in case of sudden rain showers, etc.).

We opted for this BBQ based on a recommendation of a friend and can say that we regret this decision in any way. But on the contrary. We grill now more common because it just makes the Lotus Grill also fun and promotes delicious results.

The grill is also a decent looker and questions such as "What's that for a spacey button down there on your grill?" repeatedly lead to funny and interesting conversations.

While grilling fat can drip into the large collecting bowl which is located under the bulk of the grates. The middle plate protects the underlying carbon canister from dripping fat and distributed at the same time the heat of the underlying coals evenly among the entire grate. This is, moreover, the secret of non-smokers grills. However, it may still get to smoke when you sauté meat on the center plate. Since the fat may drain quickly enough there with a corresponding heat supply not, there is a possibility of smoke generation. This can be circumvented as I said.

The grill is ideal for barbeque parties of 2 to 4 people. However, it is not a permanent-Brutzel machine for big festivities in which several dozen people to be tasted. One can easily make it in the middle of the table whereby the grill master no longer far away must be the dinner party but a part of her will. So must be grilling.
