Today the JVC GZ 210 arrived and gone back. After all the reviews I had expected better, but 0.8M MegaPixel are insufficient for video playback on a TFT television. Every cell phone has more. In photos they say, the lens has to be right, the number of pixels is not necessarily a guarantee of image quality. Of this I was guided assistance. Now I know for me, it should at least be HD resolution (1280x720 pixels). Someone wrote here for Mac users: "Video file extension rename in mpg, then it works with the MAC". I have tried, without success. The camcorder produces video files in MOD format. The VLC player can read, but does not recognize the widescreen. ALSO MAC USER .... Stay away.
What I noticed positive: Good handling .... laser bar ... something else ;-), allows smooth zooming, great innovation! good workmanship Battery is charged in half an hour good image stabilizer good sound and stereo separation
What I did not like: exotic video format (MOD) Video quality (my Medion camcorder was vastly superior, but HD and now broken)
What the 2nd card reader is installed ..... no idea. An 8 Giga SD card I do not get full on a single charge. Then rather a receptacle for 'nen 2. Battery.
The software I can not comment because I am Mac users.
