Buy alarm clock as a substitute for projection alarm clock in 2012, and since then works perfectly, by the way also with Eneloop batteries, even if the manufacturer has expressly not intended. Since the location next to my bed during the day is relatively dark and turned the switchable night light function, this lights almost permanently with me. Nonetheless holding by a good set of batteries, two Mignon, about three quarters of a year, which pleasantly surprised me. The standard Eneloops the digital display after about 6 months was slowly pale and required to end the Aufblick obliquely from above, but the luminosity of the night lights remained interestingly constant. With fresh batteries, the contrast is again top and largely independent of the Aufblickwinkel. Very nice, large display with a pleasant brightness in the dark, the latter could even be slightly darker in permanent mode for my taste. However, the brightness does not interfere, even if you sleep facing the clock. Pressing the snooze button, the indicator lights of course much brighter, as it should be. The additional room temperature display is a nice plus and works precisely. Functional Clock controls on top of the housing with tactile well perceptible, out standing stop button and large transparent snooze button under which there is also the sensor for room illumination. I had initially bought the clock for my wife, but then he liked it so much that I even ordered me a year later a second, which I'm just as happy. The only personal gripe: The alarm was strange and I found him annoying (perhaps to an alarm clock be so?). Therefore, I still use as an alarm clock my old, familiar beeping cheap radio alarm clock with its loopholes display. I find now in the dark even more quickly, because it is right next to the soft chandelier.
