Detached from commercial claims process Peas influences from Soul, Old School, Latin and funk in their refreshing style. The three transport with their good danceable beats joy and optimism.
While listening to these and also the second CD (Bridging the Gap) to raises the question why the Peas have later secured the services of former Wild Orchid singer Stacey "Fergie" Ferguson. Nothing against Fergie, but I liked the Peas without Fergie better.
