So I have to disagree completely my pros reviewers. With Hip Hop Album has almost nothing to do. Rather, the influences from the directions of electric / Trashpop (including from the European area) are undeniable. There is relatively little rapping, what it is, of course, that the group is not just Diddy but additionally 2 very talented young ladies were brought on board, and if so, are Diddy's skills, like we do know for a few years , by far not outstanding but very monotonous. The few real Hip Hop songs (eg "Angels" with a quite übersampelten Notorius feature) convince even not really. So if you want to hear right rap, with album of Gang Starr, the Wu-Tang or Talib Kweli better advised to worlds. My personal highlights in this sense are only 2 songs: "Someone to love me" and "Coming Home".
However, I am quite sure that the album will find considerable favor with non-rap fans. It really is very experimental and so created a very unique sound. At Timbaland I had this thought less, but rather to the above electric rail. And so caused some sound experiences that definitely deserve their fan base - even though I might not necessarily belong to.
