Message in a Bottle (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Apart from the usual critical or amusing songs unusually many quiet, wistful and melancholy titles are represented on this CD. Reinhard Mey sings in the loss of a good friend [bottle], the unexpected reunion with his old (from earlier songs known) girlfriend Annabelle [The bikers], the memories of his own childhood [six forty-five] and many missed opportunities [It is always late], the flare of love at different points in everyday life [Love is everything], the re-discovery of his own family after countless dispute [What a lucky one you are], and not least an admission that they have lost themselves and for it to ask forgiveness [Pardon]. This compilation appears more personal than most of his previous songs, listeners but yet has plenty of opportunity to discover themselves. For anyone who has not already done someone wrong and regretted it bitterly later? Who does not know the feeling of having done anything wrong by its own hesitation? Who does not wish sometimes that way like "straight ahead" go and you could win back his carelessness? The CD is highly recommended. (This is an Amazon.com at the university-student review.)
