Fred Vargas has a gift for that all suspicions fall on all the characters. It makes us doubt and it works. This is my 3rd book of her, I admit that his style is catchy and the characters are lost in private life but very clear with their environment. Great attention is given to its 4 characters rotten house where everyone lives in a floor according to his favorite historical period (prehistory, medieval, world war) This climb is quite funny and view. This book exchange those with Adamsberg inspector and the plot is well done. It quickly read, but I find interesting that the end is too sudden, we discover who the murderer is and that's it. It's a shame though that's not the best work of this author, it is recommended.
