The wider part of the jug under the spout is not warm, just above the thinner part, which is shielded from the cover usually is tepid. So get on it, turn the cap as possible after each beverage extraction again, otherwise by heat is lost.
The spout works great, sometimes it trickles since a little bit on the edge along which I push now but my clumsiness to. A wet bag I had not yet, anyway.
When the pot is full, you can even the coffee the next day drink hot (almost) that has completely surprised me. But as soon as it is half or even more empty, it loses over time a bit of heat. I think this is due to the cold ambient air that flows in with every pour.
Single (myself zuzuschreibendes) shortcoming is that 0.5l but are quite economical. Next time might be more helpful with 1l. At least regulated so but my coffee consumption quasi by itself;) And that I buy too small a pot, is now not really down to the product.
All in all there is of me deserved 5 stars for this product and the real good price!
