Tapping eg. An application and immerse nice terms like a European Business School on the program is already overtaxed. The Home version does not support Microsoft Word and Outlook While 2010 and 2013, but Excel.
For authors: Even programs like Scrivener and Papyrus are not supported. Here the DragonPad is (a very simple text editor held) is available, from where the text but can naturally transmitted via copy / paste.
Installing is easy (for me on a Vaio notebook with Win 8.0, 64-bit) using the included headset microphone together with the proper adapter. Very good, because my laptop would have for example had no input for the microphone plug. Thanks to the adapter, but no problem! The microphone was immediately recognized and you can start the exercises immediately. The microphone does not now the allerhochwertigsten impression, but it can work well with it.
The speech recognition is really amazingly accurate! 99%, as promised on the package, really get there. In the Premium Edition you can obviously adjust even German dialects, something that still does not go in this Home Edition.
In German words and sentence positions I've had yet in between a single mistake, if only just emerging English terms, it gets difficult. While you add this to the vocabulary, but with the voice recognition is the weak point in me then but every now and then. When new, the German terms this is no problem.
I get this program for testing, but wonder if I for the job itself, perhaps to buy the Premium Edition. For ease of use the Home Edition, however, is quite sufficient also for voice control. This works fine, eg Mozilla Firefox. You have the exact language terms just simply learn (this can be in the Home version does not yet rename in their own terms), then this program is not soon become an integral part of the notebook. A help is in the beginning the learning center in the margin, which enumerates all the key terms for dictating, navigating, edit and control.
I love the Dragon NaturallySpeaking software anyway already and do not want to miss it. Absolute recommendation!
Again, just all differences to Premium Edition:
-no Support of Excel
-no German dialects
-no English (or total foreign languages) Predictive text input
-no transcription of their own audio recordings
-no audio playback
-no import / export custom word lists
-no own voice commands possible
This may the Home Edition:
Create + documents by language, with the DragonPad, with Microsoft Word or Outlook
+ Voice control of the entire system and the Internet Explorer (Firefox and Chrome)
+ Text control and possibly improve the vocabulary
+ Learning of concepts from existing documents and emails sent
+ Improve recognition of a word or phrase by voice training
