Honorable "Wii Sports" successor

When the game was announced, I thought at first it was just sort of a small tech demo (like Wii Sports or WiiPlay). However, this does not do justice to the game. The game features 12 sports, many of which were quite good implemented.

The sports include:

Swordfight:
The "duel" to compete against another swordsman, trying to beat this from a platform. It's perfectly alright.
When "cutting hard" you have faster than your opponent to cut objects. Well, quite nice.
When "sword Marathon" one runs automatically through a level and you have to compete with multiple opponents. Large extent, later slightly heavier difficulty, very good.
Exemplary WiiMotionPlus conversion. The movements are 1: 1 and it is recognized with its 3 disciplines very extensive. My absolute highlight. 5/5

Wakeboard:
It will be pulled by a boat and sprint via the shaft, which is generated by the latter. Not really interesting or a prime example of the implementation of WiiMotionPlus. Possibly it would even have been possible without WiiMotionPlus. Quite nice, but nothing special. Would have been unnecessary. 2/5

Frisbee:
It offers 2 disciplines.
"Fetch": you have a Frisbee in target range throw. The closer to the center, the more points there. Short, but good.
"Frisbee golf": As golf but with a Frisbee and the hole has been replaced by a relatively large target area. Quite long and good control.
Basically a great WiiMotionPlus conversion. Pretty good. 4/5

Archery:
Man shoots at targets. Super control, but short. Pretty good. 4/5

Basketball:
When "3-point throw" you have to throw basketballs within the time limit in the basket.
In "Team" playing compete in a team of 3 against 3 other players. Players run automatically when you move the player dribbles toward the basket. As soon as you press B, you can throw at the basket and the opponent tries to block the ball. Basically, unfortunately you have too little control over what happens.
Not a bad WiiMotionPlus conversion, but not necessarily a highlight. 3/5

Table tennis:
In a "game" to play against another player and when "Trapping" you have to have back play.
Not quite as precise as hoped. It's perfectly alright. 3/5

Golf:
More than twice as large extent as Wii Sports. 18 courses, and more for free spins.
Unfortunately, here was the control "verschlimmbessert". The beats are basically accurate, but does not recognize WiiMotionPlus often the difference between swinging and hitting. Often you have to re-start, which can be very annoying. On the whole, however, ok. 3/5

Bowling:
The "Standard" -Bowling, as well as the "Dodge" is already known from the predecessor. New here is the "power throws" version, in which you throw on 100 pins instead of 10.
The controller has been minimized precisely. It's perfectly alright. 3/5

PWC:
Probably better known as jet skis. Here you have to drive through a number of rings as soon as possible and get to the finish. In Versus mode, you can still compete against a human opponent.
Good. 4/5

Canoeing:
During the "rapid rowing" you have to row within a time limit to the finish. Here, you can play well as a team. In VS mode you can also paddle to today. Exhausting, but entertaining, especially for the audience;) 4/5

Cycle:
You have to work through a driver's forward field. Tiring and monotonous, because you have to shake WiiRemote and Nunchuck in the clock. The game would not need it and would probably have been possible without WiiMotionPlus. 1/5

Air Sports:
When "parachute" mode you have to try formations with other jumpers to make to can then be photographed. Nett.
At the "round trip" is explored the island via airplane must keep -points out and shoot balloons for "i" (information). Because there is so much to explore, it is very varied.
When "dogfight" you can (not against a computer opponent and unfortunately) compete and you have to try to shoot down balloons hanging on a against a human.
Both skydiving as well as in controlling the aircraft control has become exemplary. 5/5

Even if are with wakeboard and cycling 2 very weak games here, I can WiiSportsResort to anyone. Even for "real" gamers it offers enough content. Sound and graphics are consistent, but nothing earth shattering.
